AVG Installation instructions

Step 1: Click on AVG Link. You will arrive at Cnet.

Step 2: Click on Download Now. You will hear a blip and a bar will show on top of your browser.

Step 3: Click on the Bar. A window will drop down.

Step 4: Click on Download file. A box will appear.

Step 5: Click on Run. After it finishes downloading the file another box appears. Note publisher is AVG Technologies. Do not download if it says anything else.

Step 6: Click Run. A box will appear asking you to choose a language. Choose the language you want.

Step 7: Click Next, Accept, Accept. The program will now install. A box will appear after that.

Step 8: Click Next 2 or 3 times. After the second or third next a box will appear saying AVG Security Tool Bar, Uncheck this box. Then just keep clicking next until complete. When done a light blue box will appear.

Step 9: Click Next. Now pick a good time for your computer to perform a scan, best set for time you might not be using your computer but the computer will be on. Scan will slow machine a little if RAM is low.

Step 10: Click Next, Next, Next, Next. It is now search for and installing updates. When it finishes it will notify you.

Step 11: Click Next, Next, Finish. You are now done, you can run a scan if you want to.
